Search by keyword or paste any video or playlist link. No account or API key needed.
Snaddle lives inside Adobe Premiere Pro as a panel. You search the web's media, preview it, and pull it straight onto your timeline. No browser, no downloads folder, no re-importing. Here's the whole thing, feature by feature.
01 / Where your media comes from
Instead of juggling five websites, you type once and Snaddle searches them all. Every result is tagged with where it came from, so you always know the license you're working with.
Search by keyword or paste any video or playlist link. No account or API key needed.
High-res stock photography from Pexels, Pixabay and Unsplash, the big three all in one list.
Royalty-free stock video clips from Pexels and Pixabay for B-roll, backgrounds and transitions.
Royalty-free tracks from Jamendo to score your edit, searchable by mood and genre.
Whooshes, clicks, ambience and more from Freesound's huge community library.
Every clip shows its origin, so you can check the right license before you use it commercially.
02 / Try before you download
You never have to download something just to see if it fits. Watch, scrub and listen inside Premiere, then only grab the keepers.
Play YouTube results and stock footage without opening a browser tab. Scrub to the exact moment you want.
Hit play on any track or sound effect and listen before committing. No more downloading ten files to find one.
See YouTube view counts and result details at a glance to judge quality before you pull anything.
Narrow results (like photo/video orientation) so what you see actually matches your sequence.
03 / Get exactly the file you need
Before you grab a clip you choose the quality, the audio format, and even a specific time range, so you're not stuck trimming a huge file later.
The very first time you download, Snaddle quietly sets up its own engine (yt-dlp + ffmpeg) with a one-time progress bar, then keeps it updated automatically, so downloads keep working even when YouTube changes things.
04 / Straight into the edit
This is the whole point of living inside Premiere: once you've grabbed something, it's already where you need it.
Downloaded media lands in your Premiere project panel, auto-sorted into Footage, Music, SFX and Photos bins so everything stays tidy.
Send a clip straight to the current playhead position on your active sequence, instantly.
Select a whole set of results and pull them all in one go instead of one at a time. (Pro)
Paste a YouTube playlist URL and Snaddle pulls every video in it. (Pro)
05 / Know your hours
A timer sits right in the panel and clocks how long you actually spend in the edit, then syncs those hours to your dashboard so you can bill, budget or just see where your day went.
One click starts the clock. Pause when you step away and pick up right where you left off.
Set a target like two hours and count down instead, so you can pace a session or a client budget.
Every session syncs to the web dashboard, so you can see how long you worked today, yesterday and across the week.
Quit Premiere and the timer pauses on its own, so idle time while the app is shut never counts.
06 / Keep track of your finds
Found something great but not ready to use it? Star it. Need that clip you grabbed last week? It's in your history.
Star any result from any source to build a shortlist you can come back to across sessions.
A running list of everything you've pulled, so you can re-add a clip without searching for it again.
07 / Your account
Snaddle works great signed out. Signing in links the panel to your account, syncs your usage, and unlocks Pro if you've bought it.
Click Log in and approve in your browser, so no passwords are ever typed into the panel. Sign in with Google.
Free gives you 10 downloads per category each day. Pro is a one-time $9.99 for unlimited downloads, forever.
See your download activity and manage your plan and license key from the Snaddle website.
Pro is a single payment with no subscription. You keep it, and every future update, for good.
08 / Getting started
Installing is a normal Windows installer. The stock sources each need a free key (a one-time paste), and Snaddle links you straight to each one.
Download and run one .exe. No admin rights and no command line. It just installs the panel.
Each stock source gives you a free key. Paste it once in Settings, and there's a "get a free key" link beside every field.
Runs on Windows 10 and 11 with Adobe Premiere Pro 2019 (v13) or newer. A macOS beta is available too.
The panel is signed so Premiere trusts it, and its download engine updates itself in the background.
